SUMMER CLASSES are conducted in June and July on Tuesday-Thursday 8:30a-12:00p in Ardmore and Monday and Tuesday 8:30a-11:30a in Tishomingo.

Evening classes in Ardmore are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5:00p-7:30p.

Ardmore Family Literacy is a 501c-3 Non-Profit that works to improve the literacy of adults, guiding them toward the milestone of high school equivalency certification while also teaching them to advocate for their children’s education.

We do this thru a five day a week classroom setting where the subjects of language, social studies, science, and math are taught by our instructors.

Our classes are open to any adult in need of improved literacy or their high school equivalency GED.  We currently serve adults from Carter, Love, Jefferson & Johnston Counties.

Students are assessed initially to determine their strengths and weaknesses with respect to all four subjects.  When it is determined they are ready for specific portions of the GED high school equivalency test, they are scheduled to take it.  Once a student has passed the four subjects, they are counseled on future educational avenues or employment opportunities.  Our goal is to lead all graduates into a career tech, college, or employment.

Classes are held at our location, 223 W Broadway, Ardmore, OK 73401, situated behind the First Presbyterian Church and at Murray State College Campus in Tishomingo, Clyde Hall, Room 205.

Our phone number is 580.798.6176.  You may email us at chaught@ardmorefamilyliteracy.com
