Summer Classes
- Summer classes are held in June and July.
- Ardmore: Tuesday–Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM
- Tishomingo: Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Program Information
Ardmore Family Literacy is a 501c-3 non-profit that works to improve the literacy of adults, guiding them toward the milestone of high school equivalency certification while also teaching them to advocate for their children’s education.
We do this through a five-day-a-week classroom setting where the subjects of language, social studies, science, and math are taught by our instructors.
Our classes are available to any adult who wants to improve their literacy or earn a GED or Oklahoma Career Readiness Diploma. We serve adults from Carter, Love, Jefferson, and Johnston Counties.
Students are first assessed to identify their strengths and weaknesses in all four subjects. When they are ready for certain parts of the GED test, they are scheduled to take it. After passing the four subjects, students receive guidance on educational or job opportunities. Our goal is to help all graduates pursue career tech, college, or employment.

We have classes daily, Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 12 and Tuesday & Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 8:30. Please come join us! Enrollment is open anytime.
